I'm
a 27 year-old Computer Animation graduate (BSc Hons), with a background in clay sculpture
and drawn cartoons. I'm a Graphic Designer for local magazines with a passion for photography. I've been a Photoshop tutor who loves non-linear video editing.
A website designer with a love of the written word, and a digital artist
at ease with a paintbrush as much as a keyboard and mouse.
Images, art and communication.
That's what it's all about, for me
My 'A' Levels
include Art and Computing, my fellow graduates were half computer geeks
and half whimsical artists. I walk the path between artistic expression
and the cold hard fact of the bit and the Byte.
In my role as
Photoshop Tutor at the Peak District Photography Centre, I had an excellent
base from which to investigate photography. As a Peak District native,
I have the perfect, ever-changing environment around me to explore through
the lens, as well as a desire to travel to far-off and wildly differing locations.
On the technical
side, I create magazines with Adobe InDesign and shoot with a Nikon D50. I work on both PC and Mac systems and
use Adobe Photoshop (of course) as my main artwork creation package, along with
Dreamweaver for this website. My University 3D Animations were made with
NewTek Lightwave, edited with Adobe Premier and the sound was mixed with
Cool Edit Pro.
